I worked with mike for many years,Im glad I got the chance to know him,once you got past the tough exterior,you found a very caring person.mike was always up for a good argument,that ill miss..he will always have a place in our hearts and memories,rest in peace my friend.........

I met Mike through my sister in 2007. I never thought that he would become my best friend. After my sister passed away in January 2008, we were there for each other to get through that very hard time. Since then, he has become the best friend anyone could ever have. We spent almost everyday together, and in that time I learned that he was a very intelligent, caring, gentle, hilarious person. He had a great love of life that never lessened even through all of the pain he had gone through. He was very protective of his friends and especially his brothers, always looking out for other people. He was his happiest when he would have a meal or a barbecue and all of his friends and family would be there with him. I had a little boy, NIckolas in April of 2010, and Mike soon became his best friend as well. He loved my son very much and would spoil him every chance he got. We will all miss Mike, he was not only my best friend, but more like family to me. I love you, Mike! I know you touched a lot of people's lives. I will never forget you my friend.

I grew up in Lake Geneva and I also remember Mike always walking around town with his dog. God Bless you and your family

I HAD THE PLEASURE OF MEETING MICHAEL SIX YEARS AGO. HE LIVED ABOVE ME. IT DIDN'T TAKE ME LONG TO LEARN THAT MICHAEL WAS LARGER THAN LIFE AND WHAT A CLASS ACT! MIKE AND I WENT OUT ON THE LAKE SEVERAL TIMES AND ALSO, SAT BY THE FIRE MANY NIGHTS AND HAD A FEW BEERS. IT WAS THEN I LEARNED OF MIKES KNOWLEDGE AND LOVE FOR THE TOWN OF LAKE GENEVA. THE TOWN OF LAKE GENEVA WILL NOT BE THE SAME WITHOUT SEEING MIKE AND HIS DOG, DARLA, WALKING ABOUT. I CAN'T THINK OF A MORE GENUINE AND CARING PERSON. ALTHOUGH MICHAEL WAS SMALL IN STATURE, HE HAD A HUGE HEART. MICHAEL, MY FRIEND AND BUDDY, REST IN PEACE, YOU WILL BE GREATLY MISSED!
