Her other daughter was my best friend before she betrayed me. We kept in contact every Christmas with cards and letters. I thought it was unusual that she didn't write back last year. Had I known she was sick I would have gone to see her. She was in my life all through high school. I met her kids on the bus. I believe Chris was the first to talk to me. She was a hard worker and worked long hours as a nurse. She didn't have an easy life raising 8 kids that didn't really listen to her. But she did her best and was proud of them when they grew up. I don't know how she did it, her husband worked 2 jobs and wasn't around much. So they did get a lot of freedom. She was a role model to me. I never saw anyone so dedicated to their family that didn't give much back as teens. After I turned 18 I didn't see anyone very much. She invited me and my fiance and all the kids to their family Christmas one year. That was the last time I saw her. I don't know how she got my address, but I looked forward to her cards and letters every year. My heart goes out to the family. May God be with you through your time of grie
