Delbert “Del” W. Krohn 89, Lake Geneva, Wi. died Monday July 25, 2016 at the Geneva Lake Manor Nursing Home, Lake Geneva. Delbert was born April 8, 1927 in Elgin Il. the son of Rudolph & Kathryn M. Flemming Krohn. United in marriage to Arleen Brantmeier,June 30, 1951 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Lyons, Wi. Member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church and the Lake Geneva Fire Dept. and Master Mechanic of the Dept. for 25 years. Owner & Operator of Del’s Service & Towing for the past 39 Years. Surviving is his wife of 65 years Arleen, a daughter Debora Krohn, Delavan, Wi. Sons Terrance (Roxanne) Krohn and William (April) Krohn both of Lake Geneva. Grandchildren, Leah (Steven) Vandijk and Nicholas (Kristi) Krohn. 4 Great Grandchildren, Gannon Del Krohn & Payton Mccann, Jesse & Hope Vandijk. Sister, Delores Cash of East Troy, and one Brother Maclyn Krohn of Lake Geneva. Preceded in death by his parents, 3 Sisters, Marion Weyrough, Esther Miller & Mary Cash, and one Brother William Krohn. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday August 1, 2016 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church with Fr.Jim Schuerman officiating. Internment will be at the Hillside Cemetery, Genoa City,Wi. Visitation will be held at the Steinke Funeral Home & Cremation Services from 3 to 8:00 P.M. on Sunday July 31, 2016.
