Lyle A. Robers, 78 of Springfield, WI. Passed away to eternal life at his residence on Saturday November 4, 2017. Lyle was born October 29, 1939 in Elkhorn, WI the son of Carl and Elizabeth (Fettes) Robers. Lyle married Marie Annette Wilson on June 19, 1965 in Burlington, WI. In high school Lyle was part of the Lake Geneva Stunt Club. He also was a past president of the Lyons Snow Bums Snowmobile Club in Lyons, WI, as well as a past president of the Walworth County Alliance of Snowmobile Clubs in Elkhorn, WI as well as a certified scuba diver. He loved to compete in snowmobile races, 3D archery shoots, and classic car shows. Surviving is his wife Marie, Daughter Lynette Premeau Robers, Sauk City, WI, and sons Edward Robers, Peoria, AZ, and Thomas Robers, Springfield, WI. Sister Joan Kuffel, Buffalo Grove, IL. Brother-In-Laws Errol Robert Wilson, Dr. Loyd Richard Wilson, and David Ball. Sister-In-Laws Kay Wilson Ball, Bonnie Martinson Wilson, Mary Dunnlovey Robers, and Diane Whitehouse Wilson. Lyle is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Linda Robers, Dorthy Ceasario and brother Jerry Robers. Visitation Will be held at 9:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 10, 2017 at the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Lyons, WI. with Father Jim Volkert officiating. Burial will take place at the St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Lyons, WI, with luncheon to follow at church.
